Residential Home Sales
Real estate agents need to look out for their customers’ best interests. A pool inspection can identify any problems with the pool or spa before the final closing. The report gives clients the ability to renegotiate or walk away from the deal if the pool has problems.
New Pool Owners
A backyard pool offers a cool escape from the summer heat. However, if you want to buy a home with an existing pool, you need to know its condition. We provide accurate, impartial inspections for pools and spas. That way, you know the cost of repair or replacement before finalizing the deal.
Home inspectors may not be experts in pool inspection. To get an accurate picture of the pool’s or spa’s condition, you need an industry expert. Hamilton Pools can provide a one-time detailed report within a few hours of your call. Make sure the pool isn’t a deal-breaker.
Pool & Spa Inspections
ADVICE BY PHONE
Do you need to get some questions answered about your pool or spa? You can call us and get friendly, professional advice from a licensed inspector. We are happy to answer your questions about the pool’s or spa’s structure, electrical, plumbing, equipment, hardscape, and safety features.
We offer annual inspections for those who want to keep their pools in good working order. The inspector will look for any changes to the pool’s condition based on previous inspection reports. We pay particular attention to the GFCI (ground-fault circuit interrupter) that serves the underwater lights, outdoor weather protection, and suction lines.
Our safety inspection looks at any electrical issues with the underwater lights. We also verify the suction line covers are in place and that the diving boards, slides, and handrails are safe. On top of inspecting for gas leaks, we’ll make sure your fence and gates are up to city code as well as the access from the house to the pool.
If your pool’s structure is failing, you may see cracks in the shell or around the edge. The plaster may be crumbling. Tiles may be popping off. Our structural inspection looks at all the components of the pool to see if anything is failing or about to fail. We also look for points of failure where water may be leaking.
